Services (1) (2): Rates for 2009

Tow Fees

Stationary (Airwolf): $10 per tow, maximum of $30 per day.

Platform Tows (Neepawa or High Bluff): $20 (including $5 for driver).
* Dog Days: $10 per tow, after your 3rd tow of the day.

Solo Aerotows: $25 to 2000 feet, or $15 to 1000 feet.

Senior Tandems (two qualified pilots): Double the solo tow rate.

Technical Assistance

Inspection and repair, if you assist and learn, is no charge. Otherwise, the charge is $30 an hour - which goes into the club kitty for facility costs. We are mainly interested in having our members maintain safe gliders. Flying wire replacements will be supplied at cost.

Glider Storage

No charge for an overnight visit. Gliders may be left set up if there is room. You are also welcome (with permission) to share to our many tools and shop machines. Hanger costs are significant. If you use the facility often, helping with a small share of the cost would be appreciated.

Pay with a smile!

Private winch owners tend to be taken for granted until they burn out and withdraw their equipment from community service.

In fact, tow fees typically cover operating costs only. They contribute little to compensating owners and operators for financing, depreciation, maintenance and repair, and their time. If costs were accurately accounted, tow fees would probably double.
